I must agree with the first reviewer. This is pretty much a hack job on Merleau-Ponty's thought. Although there are analytical philosophers who are able to understand Merleau-Ponty, this fellow, in my opinion is not one. I find little evidence that he grasps or appreciates the nature of phenomenology. A far better text (not by an analytical philosopher) is Merleau-Ponty's Philosophy by Lawrence Hass.
